Written by Sandra Brook JEC-CB SPRING TOUR 2025 Our Spring tour was a five day event with four nights hotel stay in Cartagena,with 26 people and 13 Jaguars . Day1 Members ran together from the north of Alicante city to a meeting point in the south, before continuing to the city of Cartagena, where we were joined by two couples from the Murcia region of Spain. The first night was left freetime, but some members found a restaurant nearby so a decision was made to dine there, and Mike rang to make a booking for 22 people. Day2 A run to Totana to visit a beautiful monastery with history, then to a restaurant for lunch ,which had been put together and organized by club members Alan and Sue Clatworthy . Day3 A sightseeing trip around Cartagena on the touristic road train ,which Mike had pre-booked privately for our group .Then lunch was left to everyone’s own choice , and most members met up for drinks in the evening at the hotel bar. Day4 Was a run out to Puerto Mazarrón with a route over the mountains with fantastic views , and a meal on the port overlooking the boats ,which was also organized by Alan and Sue . Day5 We had a private invertation. to visit Finca Santa Anna in Murcia , which is owned by club members Torr and Anna . Members enjoyed a wonderful afternoon celebrating Norway day with them in style,with lunch served for 24 people on a long table that was adorned by 3 crystal chandeliers a wonderful finish to our Spring Tour .
