January NewsletterWritten by Sandra BrookOur January meeting will held on the 22nd of the month. Dear all, This month’s lunch venue is at Jacaranda - Altea Golf Resort. Club de Golf, Av. Bernia, 1, 03599 Altea, Alicante Please see the menu below to make your choices of both starter and main courses. Don’t forget, for those that have registered to use the website you can send in your menu choices via the website for this event. Please also notify Mike Brook of your intention to attend in the usual way. The meeting point for both north and south members is Chester Rock and Grill, Cl. Mar Egeo, 2, 03177 San Fulgencio / la Marina, Alicante Meet at 12.00 leaving at 13.00hrs. On a different note, the proposal to make a small charge of €10 euros to each person or couple was warmly received and accepted by those that attended the lunch last month. We would ask those persons that were unable to attend to please make arrangements to pay before the end of March, either at one of the upcoming lunches or by some other means. We have made plans to attend the Classic Motor Show again this year in Alicante on the weekend of the 8th/9th March. If you have a vehicle that would qualify as a classic vehicle ie:25 years of age or more, and would be interested in displaying your vehicle at the show, please let us know and we can pass on further details. Lastly, Dennis is planning to attend the St Patrick's Day Parade in Cabo Roig again this year, on the 16th March. If you are interested in taking part please contact Dennis asap and he will be happy to furnish you with the necessary details. |
