April NewsletterWritten by Sandra BrookJAGUAR ENTHUSIASTS CLUB. Our monthly event for April,members travelled from as far as Murcia for their drive north to the town of Altea. The weather was once again in our favour as it turned out a beautiful sunny day, after having rain showers a few days previously. On arrival at the venue the Jaguars were parked up in the 2 carparks of Altea golf, which is where our lunch had been booked at the Jacaranda restaurant, that is Glass fronted over looking the golf course. From the restaurant we could see enthusiastic golfers as they made their way around the golf course while enjoying the warm sunshine. A welcome Cava reception awaited our arrival and was served at a meet and Greet before Sitting down at round tables for 8 people at 14.00 hrs Unfortunatly we had cancelations and 16 people could not join us due to illness,and we finished up with 56 people in total, who enjoyed a delicious lunch with a choice of starters, main and sweets served with good wines or soft drinks . Many of our group had chosen the succulant entrecot steak and were more than pleased with their choices,and the restaurant owner and his wife who were very pleasant and nothing was too much for them as they spoke with club members . Throughout the meal the conversations and laughter bounced around the room,and the afternoon finished with a raffle which raísed club funds while offering members a choice of prizes to be won.
