ROYAL ASCOT LADIES DAY

    Jaguar Enthusiasts Club. J.E.C. Costa Blanca held our celebration of Royal Ascot Ladies day on Thursday 18th June.
  • A meeting point was at the club house bar of La Finca Golf club in Algorfa for refreshments,before proceeding to the pre-booked venue at Rebate.
  • The route there was once again taken around the very blue looking water of the resavoir (embalse de la pedrera)a drive not to be missed.
  • New members from various áreas of the Costa Blanca and Murcia recieved a wonderful surprise as the scenery is just amazing.
  • On arrival at the famous Rebate Restaurant the big cat Jaguars were pared in the car park ,then members enjoyed a meet and greet in a Shane d area outside in the gardens ,where refreshments were served from an outside bar.
  • Tables had a varíety of finger food and olivas to pick at ,and waiters served warm tapas around the group.
  • At 2.00. pm it was time to enter the dining room ,where round tables with crisp white table cloths , and a beautiful floral center piece of white roses ,were waiting for the 50 people to be seated.
  • The meal had a choice of starters ,mains and sweets ,but i can recomend the salad which included fruis nutrido and strawberries ,it was delisious,and the largo steak mains was superb.
  • All in all another good day was enjoyed by members , and its always a pleasure to see the ladies of the club dressed for the occasion.
